Vets4Pets - Northampton

The brief

Having supported Pets at Home for over 20 years, NWD Architects was requested to produce concept layouts and a detailed drawing package of a proposed new, client-led bespoke Vets4Pets ‘super surgery’ in Northampton.

NWD’s approach

The experienced NWD team liaised with all the specialist consultants involved in delivering this new project. This included planning and building control, as well as the structural engineers and all suppliers, to ensure that the available space was utilised to the maximum benefit, whilst retaining ease of use for staff and customers.

The main point of contact was Pets at Home’s own senior Project Manager. The works included new services, partitions, M&E works, ceilings and all other associated works along with installation of specialist equipment suitable for a veterinary hospital, working within the constraints of such a building.

The outcome

This project took around three months to complete. The NWD team developed its experience of working with Vets4Pets’ construction management team and collaborating with experienced contractors and suppliers still further.
